A Memory Vault of old photos is your repository of stories.
It’s where you go to do your best storytelling.
Add new ones to it, and it becomes an evergreen source of inspiration.
Inspiration, new ideas, and better planning
Images are a great tool for unleashing both memories and new ideas.
Here are a few ways to use photos in your weekly routine.
Describe
Start by describing a photo. Where does this scene take place? What are some of its physical attributes?
Connect
Either building on the physical description or in place of it, you can consider how the photo makes you feel. What does the place mean to you? What happened there?
Extrapolate
The photo may evoke memories, emotions, or ideas that are not directly related to what most people see when looking at it. It’s something only you can find.
Although the techniques are straightforward, you often get more than you may expect.
